- You must be a self-motivated, organized leader ready to hit the ground running.
- Must have a proven track record of success as a Sales Manager and the ability to provide references.
- Create and organize all sales activities for the Car Sales division
- Work with and supervise Car Sales Consultants to ensure individual and department sales goals and quotas are met
- Partner with the Financial Services department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach
- Assist Car Sales Consultants in closing sales as needed.
- Assists in determining monthly and yearly forecast in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives and department profits
- Creativity, ability and urgency to accomplish the task at hand
- Participate and recommend to the GM, procedures for short and long range advertising, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions, compensation plans, customer complaints and salesperson evaluations
- Ensure each salesperson is properly trained and motivated on how to sell a car and understands our system
- Ensure that the dealer standards for CSI are attained each and every month
- Conduct daily sales meetings
