We are currently recruiting for Claims Advisors in the Atlanta, GA area with automotive/power sports/marine/RV backgrounds. Candidates should provide customers with exceptional customer service which ensures customer satisfaction while promoting loyalty.
 
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Receive incoming calls from repair facilities, obtain and confirm all facts required to validate mechanical failures, determine coverage and provide authorizations.
  • Maintain positive internal and external customer relationships by exhibiting a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Initiate inspection requests as needed and review incoming reports to complete claim adjudication process.
  • Accurately document claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision making processes
  • Contact outside sources (i.e.; repair facilities, outsourcing suppliers/distributors) for additional information required to complete claim adjudication.
  • Research and resolve routine inquiries received from repair facilities, relating to service contract
  • Research and respond to claim review requests received from customers relating to the settlement of a claim.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent automotive/RV/motorsports technician or service advisor experience
  • Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills
  • Strong computer skills using multiple Windows applications and the ability to multi-task between various claims systems/tools
  • Ability to sit for long hours and handle high call volume
  • Strong negotiation and decision making skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • ASE Certification
  • Call center experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
