Ben Franklin Transit is accepting applications for a Mechanic II position. Must be skilled in all phases of equipment repair diagnosis, A/C, electronic controls, transmissions, suspension, brake systems, diesel and non diesel vehicles. Must be willing to work any shift (graveyard included), weekends and OT. Ben Franklin Transit offers an extensive benefit package. Salary range: $25.43 - $28.63 Minimum Requirements: High School graduate or GED equivalency. Requirements: Completed trade school, have five (5) years verifiable experience, own a basic set of tools, pass a DOT physical and be able to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a Class B endorsement, and read/speak excellent English.
