Jim’s Pacific Garage is a very successful family-owned dealership offering a rare opportunity in our Pasco, Washington location. We are seeking a motivated person who will become a Freightliner Truck Sales Representative.

Freightliner Trucks is a division of Daimler Trucks North America, the largest manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles in North America and a leading manufacturer of medium-duty vehicles. Freightliner designs, builds and markets a wide range of Class 5-8 vehicles including long-haul highway tractors, heavy-duty construction & vocational trucks, and mid-range trucks for distribution & service. As a Daimler company, Freightliner brings to bear the vast research and development capabilities, technological expertise and global business resources of the world's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer.

Responsibilities Include:

Aggressively contact and build relationships with customers.  Prepare sales proposals including spec’ing truck as required.  Follow-up on new leads as well as drive and develop referrals from current customers.  Manage customer account services through quality control checks and customer follow-up.  Identify and resolve customer concerns, involving management when appropriate.  Prepare trucks for delivery.  Local travel is required. (No overnight stays.)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Medium/heavy truck sales or industry experience strongly preferred.  Great interactive and communication skills a must.  Dependable.  Ability to work independently.  Competitive spirit with a motivation to achieve.  Optimistic attitude.  Professional image.  Must be able to learn advanced computer skills. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)  Must be eligible to obtain a Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement.

Compensation:

Jim’s Pacific Garage offers a base salary plus commission and a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
