Service Manager

We are growing Los Angeles Metro Area Toyota dealer and a unique opportunity is available for a Service Manager looking to take us to the next level.
 
Service Manager Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Ensure proper processes are in place and followed Service Consultants to promote the sale of appropriate service and parts to every customer every time.
  • Ensure proper staffing throughout the department at all hours of the day
  • Work with the parts department as appropriate to ensure proper stocking of high moving parts
  • Maintain the highest possible standards of workmanship.
  • Assure proper repair order flow to satisfy warranty/dealership/business office requirements
  • Maintain reporting systems required by the general manager, company and manufacturer
  • Assist in development of annual service budget for use in connection with annual sales forecast
  • Ensure that customer inconveniences, complaints and misunderstandings are dealt with fairly and quickly
  • Administer manufactures warranty per the service policy and procedures manual
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index at or above that of manufacturer requirement or dealership
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • 2 year or 4 year college degree or technical degree (Preferred)
  • Five or more years experience as a Service Manager. Honda or Toyota experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skill
  • Great attitude and high energy personality
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
