King Manufacturing has an ongoing Apprenticeship Program to train new staff and all of King Manufacturing's Journeymen Welders are qualified to CWB and/or B Pressure Welding Procedures.

King Manufacturing is seeking a Junior Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our team. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide Mechanical engineering design and technical support for the construction of tank farm facilities, specialty equipment and manufactured goods, including but not limited to, calculations, design drawing review as well as field investigations and construction review.
  • Interpret technical data and documents.
  • Prepare detailed, technical reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with field labour supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of subcontractors work schedules.
  • Work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary project team to implement structural requirements, and
  • Travel to construction sites in the Northwest Territories to confirm structural and civil specifications.
Qualifications
  • Ability to register as a professional engineer in the Northwest Territories.
  • Advanced organization and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • A willingness and ability to relocate on a permanent basis to Hay River, NWT.
