Operations ManagerAuto Dealership in Downtown Los Angeles
Auto Dealership based in Downtown Los Angeles is looking to hire an Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day responsibilities of a fast-paced rapidly growing company. Performance Management, Staffing, Developing and Enforcing Standards, Day-to-Day Facility Management, Inventory Control.
 
Operations Manager Job Duties:
  • Increases management's effectiveness by selecting, hiring, training, developing, and motivating employees; clearly and decisively communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance; developing incentives; understands how to motivate staff and to develop to their full potential.
  • Meets individually with team members to discuss progress of work, resolve problems, and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met; facilitates daily meetings and reporting with service team. 
  • Enforces ethical business practices; establishes service policies, best practices and procedures with the various departments; reinforces company image and brand by collaborating with sales and customer service; tracks cases in CRM to monitor expedited client service resolution; 
  • Identifies and develops strategic plans to improve, enhance and/or scale office operational systems when required, including expansion of facilities and technical infrastructure; presenting recommendations and executing approved initiatives. Works directly with computer consultant and other technology vendors to manage IT infrastructure.
  • Manages and works directly with outside vendors, suppliers and professional service providers, negotiating preferred pricing on services and procurement of materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Exercises judgment and uses discretion to solve problems; makes informed decisions and manages wisely. 
  • Manage the workforce time wisely in order to achieve cost-effective maximum results.
  • Coordinate with and assist other managers and staff needing assistance.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requested Skills & Experience
  • Minimum five years of successful operations management experience in a service company or related field
  • Bachelor's Degree a must
  • Must have demonstrated track record for managing highly effective teams and be able to bring new ideas to the team
  • Must have demonstrated project management experience
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills with the proven ability to  foster relationships and collaborate with staff at all levels
  • Prior experience in CRM reporting and analysis
  • Prior experience developing KPIs to drive operations
  • Must have demonstrated experience writing and/or developing standard operating procedures
  • Advanced experience with Sales Force, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Passion for the classic car industry is a huge plus
