Automotive Technology Instructor

Seeking Automotive Technology service professional, with teaching experience or a desire to teach, to enhance curriculum and teach automotive technology and introduce some pre-engineering curriculum to high school students. Ideal candidate will have a combination automotive technology experience, some knowledge of engineering, hands on design/fabrication project experience, and a passion about cars and passion about sharing your knowledge with others. Enhance current curriculum, develop new automotive projects, set up and manage 5 bay auto shop. Looking for dynamic, well-rounded service technician, with mechanical, electrical systems experience; some management experience preferred; teaching experience a plus.

AS degree required; ASE certification, CAD experience a plus. Possess or obtain Designated Subjects Vocational or Career Technical Education teaching credential in Automotive Technology. Start Date for Program Development: April 15, 2013 ($33.07/hour) School Year: August 20, 2013 - June 18, 2014 Full-time salary range: $50,420-$61,145 depending on experience.
